What is a Life Group?

A Life Group is a small group environment in which friends help friends become passionate followers of Jesus Christ. It’s really that simple. In a Life Group we seek to fulfill Jesus’ command to love God and love one another (Mark 10:29-31) as we together pursue transformation into the image of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). We seek to fulfill this purpose by practicing four experiences together:

Shared Learning: experiencing God’s Word

Shared Life: experiencing friendship

Shared Service: experiencing meeting to the needs of others

Shared Mission: experiencing opportunities to invite others to Jesus

What to Expect…

While each Life Group has the same general mission each group is unique because of the people in them and the neighborhood in which they meet. However, you can expect a gathering that includes food, prayer for one another, discussion and application of the Bible and serving others. Over time you will foster friendships that will last a lifetime, impact the lives of others and become more like Jesus.
